Dear Christ Bible Church Family & Friends,

I count it a privilege to be your under Shepherd! God has blessed me with people who love Jesus and are committed to His Word. Just as Paul praised God for the dedicated saints at Philippi, I thank my God upon every remembrance of you always, in every prayer of mine, making requests for you all with joy for your fellowship in the Gospel from the first day until now (philippians 1:3-4 NKJV). I believe the following poem best expresses my gratitude to God for you all:

I asked God for a seed
He gave me a flower
I asked God for a branch
He gave me a tree
I asked God for friends
And He gave me you

Recently, my prayer has been the prayer of Solomon: "Lord, give me wisdom to understand your children and grant us all greater communion with you." I know that God has greater things for us to do for his glory. My desire for us all is that we may know Him (Jesus), the power of His resurrection, the fellowship of His suffering, being made comformable to His death (Philippians 3:10)!
